- Share to Instagram (mobile) – Add the campaign to their profile and post Stories with a Donate button.
- Post to Facebook – Include a Donate button automatically and show real-time funds raised.
This guide walks you through how to enable Meta Sharing for your nonprofit — in just a few easy steps.
Step 1: Get Your Charity Approved for Meta Fundraising Tools
Before you can use the Meta Sharing integration on GivenGain, your nonprofit must meet Meta’s eligibility requirements.
Requirements:
- Facebook Page: Your nonprofit organisation must have an official Facebook Page.
- Meta Fundraising Tools: Your organization must be onboarded with Meta’s (Facebook's) fundraising tools.
Instagram-Specific Setup:
- Professional Account: Make sure your Instagram account is a professional account (Business or Creator).
- Link to Facebook Page: Your Instagram account must be linked to your nonprofit’s Facebook Page.
Note: Once you have submitted the application, Meta will be in touch. Only once your charity has been approved by Meta, will you be able to move onto Step 2.
Step 2: Enable Meta Sharing on GivenGain
Once you’ve completed the Meta onboarding, it’s time to turn on the integration on your GivenGain account.
Here’s How:
- Visit the Meta Sharing Integration page on GivenGain
👉 Meta Sharing - Search for your charity by entering your Tax ID.
If your organization is eligible and onboarded with Meta, it will appear in the search results. - Follow the prompts to activate the integration for your charity.
